In the spirit of celebrating love and kindness that symbolizes the Valentine season, Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has once again extended real love to people around him and market women in Ife.
The monarch of the cradle of Yoruba race who was represented by Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi at a short ceremony within the market place in the ancient community had the outing started at Oja tuntun, all the way to Oja Ejigbomekun and ended at Oja Ita Akogun where she was welcome by the market people, where she gave out cash to market women and SME’s with cash gift.
She noted that the cash giving out today to help the small scales trade women will be a continuous process by Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
She also appreciated the kind gesture they showed in welcoming her to the market “I know things are not easy at the moment, but the Lord will help us through the situation of the country”, She said.
The market people in return appreciated HIM Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II for his fatherly love and care he is showing the people of Ife and his environment while praying for long life with good health on the throne of his forefathers.
