Iwo Federal Constituency to Benefit as Governor Adeleke grants Approval for Community Intervention Projects Across Osun State

In line with his people’s oriented administration style, the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration has released funds to communities in Osun State for various intervention projects in line with the needs of the people in such community.

This is seen as part of effort by Governor Ademola Adeleke administration to deepen government presence in the grassroots. Among the communities to benefit from the various government interventions are communities from Iwo federal constituency.

The community intervention projects, which is rooted through the ‘Osun Community and Social Development Agency’ (OSCSDA) will see communities in Iwo, Ayedire and Olaoluwa local governments gets motorized boreholes, modern dispensary and construction of Health centres’ for the use of the respective communities among other things.

It would be recalled that the CSDA had last year executed more than nine motorized boreholes, two maternity centres, and renovated a public school in communities across Iwo local government.

Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju, who is the Special Adviser to Governor Adeleke on CSDP, said the latest round of projects is in continuation of the Adeleke administration commitment to the people at the grassroot, charging benefiting communities to take ownership of the projects once it is deliver.

He said the Governor Adeleke administration will continue to prioritize interventions that will add more benefits to the people of the state, saying the CSDP under his watch will pursue more projects for the benefits of citizens.

One of the health centres to benefit from the government intervention project in Iwo will be located along Agoro Oloba Road community while another one will serve the people of a community in Oluponna, Ayedire local government.

A modern dispensary will be cited at the Iwo General Hospital to serve patients and other users.

Other communities to benefit from the government micro-projects intervention are communities like Ifelodun, Bolorunduro, Ponyan, and Oke-Ore, among other beneficiaries.

Representatives of the benefiting communities had undergone seminars in Osogbo on Thursday and Friday, with 50 percent funds of the quoted projects already released for a swift project execution.
