Eid-el-Fitr: Governor Adeleke, Osun Speaker, SSG, Dr Akindele, OHIS Management Felicitate with Muslim Ummah

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged muslims faithful not to stop praying for his administration while calling for unity and peaceful coexistence among all residents of the state.

In a statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor congratulated muslims in the state and in Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration, wishing them a fruitful celebration.

“Congratulations to my muslim brethen for seeing yet another eid-el-fitr celebration. In the last 30 days, we have fasted and prayed for both ourselves, family, and nation.

“I want to urge you all to keep praying for us, pray for our administration, prayers are never too much and the Yoruba people will always say what is already good needs prayer and the one that is yet to be, also needs prayer.

“Let’s also make sure that now and beyond, we live in unity because united we stand and divided we fall,” the Governor stated.

The Governor also expressed commitment to the speedy completion of the Muslim Pilgrim Camp, adding that his administration is committed to the completion of every project.

Eid-ul-fitr : Egbedun Extends Warm Greetings to Muslims

Also, the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Osun State and Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr Olamide Tiamiyu, Rt. Hon. Egbedun congratulated the Muslim community on completing the month-long spiritual journey of fasting, self-reflection, and piety.

He commended their resilience and devotion during this sacred period and urged them to carry forward the lessons of compassion, unity, and self-discipline.

The speaker emphasised that the Eid-el-Fitr celebration signifies the importance of gratitude and charity, encouraging everyone to remember and assist those who are less fortunate.

He also highlighted the significance of fostering peaceful coexistence and understanding among diverse communities, which is central to the teachings of Islam.

“On this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my warmest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters across Osun State and Nigeria. As we celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, let us carry forward the lessons of compassion, unity, and self-discipline, and continue to foster peace and understanding among our diverse communities.”

The Secretary to the Osun State government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, has equally joined millions of people around the world to wish all muslims in Osun State and Nigeria happy Eid-El-Fitri

In his greetings, he said, “Today’s celebration is indeed unique. It is a feast to mark the end of a month-long spiritual renewal after 29 days of fasting, prayers, and other religious acts.

I want to admonish all of us not to allow all the prayers and fasting during the Holy Month to go to waste. Let us all continue to imbibe and show that something important has passed through us and let it reflect in our words, our lives and relationship with fellow human beings.

We should not limit the goodness of our deeds to the Ramadan period alone. We must make the lessons and act our way of life.”

In the same vein, the Chairman, Forum of Special Adviser’s in Osun, Dr. Akindele Adekunle has felicitate with Muslim Ummah’s on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, while enjoining them to imbibe lessons of Ramadan

He said, “As the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr graces our lives once again, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all Muslims worldwide. May this joyous celebration be filled with blessings, peace, and spiritual rejuvenation for you and your loved ones.

In the spirit of unity and compassion, let us reflect upon the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Let us embrace the virtues of patience, gratitude, and kindness as we commemorate the end of Ramadan.
