Multiple award winning global music star, Davido recently announced his intention to support several Orphanage Homes in Nigeria with the sum of three hundred million naira (#300,000,000) through his foundation, ‘David Adeleke Foundation.’
After a careful consideration of verifiable Orphanage Homes in Nigeria, his foundation has announced a total number of 427 verifiable Orphanage Homes in Nigeria that will benefit from the benevolence and humanitarian gesture of the music star.

Davido had announced via his verified X handle on the 20th of February 2024 that he will be donating N300M To Orphanage Homes in Nigeria, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow 🇳🇬”, he tweeted via @davido.
He followed it up further the following day by sharing screenshot of the transaction details of the money already deposited into the account of his foundation “David Adeleke Foundation.”

This will not be the first humanitarian gesture from the music star but an act he has been consistently doing over the years with his popular insignia “We Rise By Lifting Others.”
Nigerians and the global music world have applauded the gesture from the producer of the wave making album ‘Timeless’ while some other said they’re not surprised with the philanthropic gesture of the musician as that is what his family (Adeleke’s Family) are known for especially his father, Dr Deji Adeleke.
