●Osun PDP, Speaker Egbedun, SSG congratulates former Osun Governor
The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with a former Governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, celebrating his life of service and endearing contributions to the growth and development of the nation.
Governor Adeleke notes Prince Olagunsoye’s sacrifices to the promotion of peace and stability of Nigeria and even beyond our shores, recalling the frontline roles the Okuku-born Prince played in confronting the many security challenges of the country while in the military.
The Governor who acknowledges Prince Oyinlola as a fine administrator, noted that his exploits as the Military Governor of Lagos and a civilian Governor of Osun state left a pleasing taste of developments and impacts, hailing him as a suitable guidance for effective leadership and good governance.
“I celebrate my Leader and dear Egbon, Prince Olagunsoye Asola Oyinlola, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. Prince Oyinlola is a perfect reflection of a sense of commitment to the people, dedicating over five decades to the service of the people in one capacity to the other,” the Governor was quoted to have noted in a congratulatory message.
“As a military man, Prince Oyinlola showed discipline and grit, participating in many efforts towards peace and stability of Nigeria and other African nations.
“And as a politician, Omooba Olokuku inspires a sense of service, demonstrating to anyone who is observant enough that politics is about service and making impacts.
“On this occasion of his birthday, I convey the heartfelt congratulations of the good people of Osun State to him and appreciate his modest contribution to the progress of the state.”
In the same vein, Osun PDP joined friends and family in celebrating the former Governor of Osun State, as he marks his 73rd birthday anniversary.
In a statement by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Sunday Bisi, described Prince Oyinlola as an invaluable asset to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Osun State, and Nigeria as a whole.
“Your unwavering commitment and dedication have significantly contributed to the growth and success of our party. As an exemplary leader, you have always led by example, inspiring us with your vision, integrity, and passion for service. Your leadership style is a shining example of excellence and has left an indelible mark on the political landscape of our country.”
“Your tenure as governor was nothing short of remarkable. You demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, implementing policies and programs that positively impacted the lives of the people of your state. Your legacy of good governance, development initiatives, and inclusive leadership continues to inspire generations”, Hon Sunday Bisi stated in his congratulatory message.
Equally, the Speaker Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adewale Egbedun and the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye were among other top political functionaries that eulogies the celebrant on his birthday.
Speaker Egbedun, in his congratulatory message, said, “I join family, friends and political associates to celebrate an Outstanding Military man who demonstrated intelligence, capacity and exceptional understanding of his people at all time.
Thank you, Sir for your meritorious service to Osun State. May the Lord bless you with many more years in good health and happiness”, while the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye described former Governor Oyinlola as a “true elder statesman” as he join others to celebrate the 73rd birthday of the former Osun Governor and military administrator in Lagos State.
