Osun Commissioner, Tola Faseru Celebrate Yeye Dupe Adeleke Birthday with Cash Donations to Widows, Women

The commissioner for Agriculture, Hon Tola Faseru has gifted One Million Naira to four widows and women from the three Senatorial districts in celebration of the birthday anniversary of Yeyeluwa Modupe Adeleke – Sanni, the matriarch of the Adeleke family.

In a dramatic selection process, the Commissioner randomly selected the beneficiaries who were tipped and selected by drummers without their any pre-knowledge of what beckons. 

The Commissioner, while announcing the selection and the donation, said Yeyeluwa Adeleke-Sanni is a philanthropist who devoted her time to uplifting the lives of needy men and women.

“ We can best celebrate her by sponsoring needy widows and women. Her birthday should be a day of giving and uplifting of womenfolk, especially those carrying the burden of child rearing, among others.

“We dedicate these donations to a woman of substance, a leader of men and women, a pillar of support for the Imole movement. Today is a blessed day, the day a kind-hearted woman entered this world.

“That is why I used today as a blessing for these selected members of the womenfolk. The blessings and the rewards are to our mother in Israel, Chief(Mrs) Modupe Adeleke – Sanni, a political and economic mother of the imole movement”, Hon Faseru noted.

The beneficiaries include the following: Mrs Olamide Elizabeth Owoso (Ijebu Jesa -Osun East); Yisau Simiat (Iwo, Osun West); Mrs Bamigbegbin Ruth Omoladun (Osogbo-Osun Central) ; and Mrs Olawusi Rebecca Morounsogba (Ede, Osun West Senatorial District.)
